When I moved into my first home, I was gifted a handmade oak coffee table. It was lovingly crafted by my father-in-law and stood at the center of my living room as more than a piece of furniture.
As I wanted to curate an intentional space, I searched for something worthy to put on top of such a beautiful piece. I looked for a coffee table book that was simple, beautiful, and filled with images that actually meant something. But everything I found felt the same—either overly cluttered, made with lower quality materials, or filled with content that didn’t feel intentional.
Nothing felt like it belonged on that table. I didn't want decor for the sake of having something just to fill space.
So, I created what I couldn’t find.
With a background in photography and designing albums, I began creating coffee table books that were just as thoughtful on the inside as they were on the outside—books that felt meaningful, high quality, and designed to truly add something to a space.
That’s how Gilded began.
Today, Gilded is a collection of coffee table books and prints created to elevate your home while reflecting what you love. They are more than books, they are true art pieces. At it's core, Gilded is about slowing down and making space for the moments that bring meaning into everyday life.
